This is a variation of the earlier piece, using different colours to achieve different effects. This colour combination is a sweeter version that works better for a female recipient. The Oriental design was inspired by the festivities around Chinese New Year.

This was designed with an Oriental flavour. The maroon designs were all punched out using craft punchers and the pearlized papers were trimmed with a rotary trimmer using the waves blade.

Nature's Day with Bodhi Leaf

This is a general card that uses a dried out Bodhi Leaf mounted on dark bropwn card stock with gold specks. It was inspired when I was shopping at a store selling Zen furniture, and was quickly put together using treated Bodhi Leaves that were bought for crafting purposes when I got home.

Earth Green Floral Thank You

This was designed for a general audience as the green and earth colours work even for male recipients. Simple flowers that were handstamped on neutral parchment paper, embellished with a simple thin strip of yellow ribbon, then stamped with words of your choice (in this case - thank you very much) makes it a sweet floral thank you card for general purposes.

Mid-Autumn Chinese Dragon

This is one of our personal favorites that was very simple to make. The centre design of a hand-stamped dragon was torn out from a large piece of handmade paper which matched perfectly with the burgundy cardstock. This was a great and simple design that was created just in time for the mid-autumn festival. Sequins were used to bring out the feature of the dragon.

Happy 34th Birthday

Made for the Daddy in the house. This was created within a couple of hours with 2 little screaming kids.... Daddy was celebrating his 34th birthday this year, and mommy had cut out the numerics using her latest Zip e'Mate machine that cut a hole in her pocket. The present/ cake underneath was simply made using contrasting coloured paper and thin gold ribbons. The words "Happy Birthday" was stuck on using pre-cut stickers. Tiny "balloons" as borders were created by little Kieona who lent her index finger in this much treasured piece of art which we hope the recipient will be proud of for many more years to come. Afterall, this is Kieona's first handmade card for her daddy.

This cheery image was cut out from unused portions of a wrapping paper, pasted onto dark red paper of about 220gsm and the shape cut out and mounted onto the machine embossed cardstock (which gives it the distinctive background) using foam tape so that it creates a 3D effect. Handstamped "happy birthday" was chosen as the small and distinct letters accentuates the happy design. There were other cards along this line using the same wrapping paper that were created for quick and easy birthday cards.

This was easy to put together, with foam cut-outs bought at an Australian crafts store. Wording was using high quality gold stickers. Great as a greeting card for ladies, especially those who love going out or shopping.

This was made for a person who had touched my life in my early working days. She had told me that her wish was to become a teacher and I never had the chance to ever thank her after all these years. Although we seldom keep in touch, I finally managed to send her a note to thank her for being such a great teacher.

Big Sister Says Hi!

This card was made for a little preschooler, who had just had baby brother. As a mother of 2 kids, I understand how important it was to also get a little gift and congratulate the little girl for becoming a "big sister". The stamped picture reminds me of the wonders of living together in harmony, and the hedgehog seems to be welcoming and playing with the little bee.

This cute little bear in a parcel card was made for a newborn's baby boy's "welcome to the world" present. The daddy is a friend of my hubby and the card was put together easily by stamping the image (it is a disguised Christmas stamp) and filling in the spaces with colouring pencils, then layered and mounted on to the neutral earth tone parchment paper.
